How do you remaster a classic without losing its magic? In this talk, we’ll dive into the remastering of (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, exploring how sound engineers balance nostalgia with modern audio techniques. Through exclusive interviews with original production team members - including assistant recording engineer Nick Brine, mastering engineer Nick Webb, and remastering engineer Ian Cooper - alongside digital audio analysis, we’ll uncover the subtle (and not-so-subtle) sonic differences between the original and remastered versions of this iconic Oasis album.
