This will be an interactive performance talk about how the brain puts together the experience of pain. It will use story-telling, audience participation, poetry, music and magic to tell the story of how the brain puts together the experience of pain. It will describe what can go wrong in patients with chronic pain and old and new ways that can help increase the brain’s resilience to pain.
