Dr Mhairi Day (Senior Lecturer, Glasgow Caledonian University)
Dr Stephanie Kearney (Senior lecturer, Glasgow Caledonian University)
Emma Dow (PhD Researcher, Glasgow Caledonian University)
Shortsightedness (myopia) happens during childhood when the eye grows too long, too fast. This means glasses are needed to see things in the distance, which can affect a person’s quality of life. Using fun examples like party crashers and how a nerd becomes a bad-ass goth, we’ll explore how germs adapt, evolve, and "dress up" to invade new hosts. Join us to discover the unpredictable ways pathogens adapt and cause trouble!
